Piumelli Milano is a brand of the company Sapori d’Italia Srl established and operating in compliance with Italian law (hereinafter also only “Piumelli Milano” or the “Owner”), recognizes the importance of the privacy of users of its sites and undertakes respect for it.

With this privacy policy (hereinafter, the “Privacy Policy”) referred to the site (hereinafter the “Site”), Piumelli Milano aims to provide users with information about the data controller, the personal information collected through the Site, the purposes and methods for which this information is processed, the third parties involved in the processing, any transfer abroad, the security measures adopted in order to protect and protect the data collected and the ways in which the user can verify the processing of data concerning him and exercise the rights recognized by the legislative decree 30 June 2003, n. 196 (hereinafter the “Legislative Decree 196/2003”).

The Privacy Policy was drafted in accordance with Recommendation no. 2/2001, adopted on May 17, 2001 by the Working Group for the Protection of Personal Data – Art. 29 in relation to the minimum requirements for online data collection in the European Union and also represents information to interested parties pursuant to article 13 of Legislative Decree 196/2003.

The Privacy Policy is made only for the Site and not for other websites that may be consulted by the user through links on the Site.

Type of personal data collected and processed

Navigation data
In the event of a visit and consultation of the Site, Piumelli Milano does not collect, in general, the user’s personal data, except for the so-called navigation data. In fact, the technological platform through which the Site is made available to the user automatically records some browsing data – the transmission of which is implicit in the use of Internet communication protocols – such as, for example, the name of the access provider to the Internet, site of origin, pages visited, date and duration of the visit, etc. This information allows access to the site as well as the use of some services and can be used anonymously and in aggregate for statistical purposes and to verify the correct functioning of the site.

Data voluntarily provided by the user
Piumelli Milano collects and processes personal data that the user voluntarily provides when interacting with the features and services of the Site, for example in case of registration to learn about news from the Piumelli Milano world and receive newsletters and other commercial communications, as well as to send applications spontaneous as well as in the event of a request for information or sending communications to Piumelli Milano.

In the sections of the site where the user’s personal data are collected, a disclosure prepared pursuant to article 13 of Legislative Decree 196/2003 is published and specific consent is required for the processing of the data provided in these sections, in compliance with the aforementioned decree.

Purpose of the treatment

The user’s personal data are processed through IT and telematic methods, mainly with electronic and automated means and, limited to particular operations, through paper support.

In accordance with Legislative Decree 196/2003, specific security measures are observed to prevent data loss, illicit or incorrect use and unauthorized access.

Subjects involved in the treatment

The user’s personal data are processed by subjects designated as managers or processors, in accordance with the provisions of articles 29 and 30 of Legislative Decree 196/2003.

Such data may be brought to the attention of the other companies belonging to the Piumelli Milano group. Furthermore, with the user’s consent, these data may be transferred outside the national territory to the other group companies based in countries outside the European Union: in the latter case an adequate level of data protection will be guaranteed .

In addition to the foregoing, the data may be brought to the attention of other third parties such as professionals, consultants and more generally third parties who cooperate with Piumelli Milano for the pursuit of the aforementioned purposes, or third parties to whom activities have been entrusted under an outsourcing regime.
